Competitive Youth Soccer for ages U10 - U19
Our high school teams will be holding open tryouts on Sunday, March 7th, from 1:00 - 3:00 pm at Erme Field. Everyone who is currently high school aged and is looking for a team to play for this summer is encouraged to come to tryouts. Show up dressed to play. In the event of bad weather that causes the fields to be unplayable, we will still be holding a registration in the Washington Branch Library. An initial deposit of $75 (non-refundable) is required at the time of registration.
Our team practices will begin the first or second week of April. The season begins on May 17th and ends on July 11th. The following is a list of things you will need to bring with you to tryouts as part of your registration:
1. Player registration form (link below)
2. Medical Release form (link below)
3. Player Code of Conduct form (link below)
4. Photo of Player (for your player id card)
5. Copy of Birth Certificate (for players that did not play for Glass City in 2008 or 2009)

Tryout Information
On February 22nd, Glass City Soccer sent two teams to the University of Toledo to compete in the first ever Northwest Ohio 3 v 3 Youth Soccer Championships. Both of our teams made it into the tournament championship match, claiming runner-up positions.
Our girls U9 team, made up of mainly first year travel players, showed a strong start to the upcoming spring season by making their way through the group stage and advancing to the finals before losing a close match with the eventual champions.
Our girls U11 team, competing in the U12 division for this tournament, posted a 5-1-1 record in the tournament, with their only loss being a 3-2 outcome in the title match. Veteran players on this squad included Kyleigh South, Sara Semler, and Ashley Wagenhauser.
Congratulations to all of our girls who took part in the tournament. We are very proud of you and look forward to great things on the field this spring.
